Ahoy Captains & Crew!

The 'Blue Supermoon' begins Wednesday night, August 30th (peaking at 9:36 PM).

It will be a great time to enjoy the evening on the water with friends under the beautiful supermoon!   Raft-up will begin at Lake Sylvia at 6:00 PM.     

Some captains may go for an afternoon sail prior to the raft-up. 

Registration is now open - Click HERE to register!     Various opportunities may be available, overnight or just day event.   Sailing or just rafting up. 

Boat assignments will be made by August 25th and is dependent on the number of captains participating, their crew requirements, etc. and of course the weather!  Assignments are not guaranteed.

Interesting Facts - This will be the 2nd full moon in August hence the reason it is called a Blue Moon.    It is also a supermoon as it will be the closest, biggest, and brightest full supermoon of 2023.  It’s exceptionally close in Moon miles from Earth (222,043 miles). The next time we’ll have a closer full supermoon is November 5, 2025, when the moon lies 221,817 miles from Earth.
