SADIE HAWKINS DAY SHINDIG

(An event where the females asked the males to accompany them in a reversal of traditional gender roles)

Here’s the low down on the hoedown:

When: February 29, 4:00 PM - ?

Where:  Arlene Sprenger Ranch, 1415 SW 31 Street, Fort Lauderdale, FL (extra parking in the lot next door)

Bring your own waterin’ hole drinks or moonshine.

Who brings what: If your last name starts with:

A-K: Main Dish               L-O: Side Dish              P-Z: Dessert

Suggestions for Country Style dishes to share:

•         Main Dishes: BBQ chicken, ribs, chili, Sloppy Joes, green bean casserole, pulled pork sandwiches, country-fried steak.
•         Side Dishes: Baked Beans, corn on the cob, macaroni & cheese, biscuits & gravy, potato salad, cornbread, deviled eggs, coleslaw, mashed potatoes & gravy, sweet potato fries.
•         Desserts: Blueberry pie, banana cream pie & whipped cream & vanilla wafers, cherry pie, strawberry pie, chocolate pie, hot apple pie with ice cream, bread pudding, cobbler pudding.

(Basically, anything y’all like to eat.)

Prizes for the best gal’s costume and the best guy’s costume. Lots of games, prizes, and weddin’s.
