Captains Sail Credits 2026 (January 01, 2026)

Enter SSSF Captains Sail Credits Monthly

Per SSSF Policies & Procedures: Sail Report must be turned in within one (1) month of the sail.

Crew must vary from sail to sail.
Day sail earns one (1) sail credit when boat & Crew signed up via the Sailing Director.
Non-scheduled sails earn one (1) sail credit if there are at least two (2) Club members aboard.
Weekend or extended sails earn (1) credit per day.

Click Register and provide details of your sail. Each sail must be registered separately.

Our Spring Sailing/Boating Orientation Session (SOS) is scheduled for May 16th at Hillsboro El Rio South Park, Pavilion #4. Located at 499 SW 18th Street, Boca Raton, 33432.

Registration is now open on the website. This event is free for members, $20 for a member's non-member guest.

IMPROVE YOUR SAILING/BOATING KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS- Recommended for all new members!

Event Details

Date: May 16, 2026

Venue: Hillsboro El Rio South Park, Pavilion #4. Located at 499 SW 18th Street, Boca Raton, 33432.

No Entrance Fee and its Free to Park.

Agenda:

Our knowledgeable instructors ensure a fun, hands-on learning experience, providing a great opportunity to enhance your sailing/boating skills and become a valuable crew member.

9:30 AM - Registration

10:00 AM - 3:00 PM - Courses will include topics of Boating Terminology and Parts of Boats/Sails, Crew and Crew-Chief Etiquette and Responsibilities, Throwing Lines and Tying Knots/Cleats, and Boat Safety (Radio, Man Over Board, Systems Panel, Etc.). A cold lunch will be served. If you have any special dietary requirements, please provide your own food/beverage provisions.

Members and Instructors are requested to wear their SSSF Badges.

11 am to 2 pm.

It will be a great day on the dock, where we will enjoy fantastic Jazz Music along with other types of music on the three stages. There will be plenty of people and dog watching along with booths from local vendors for clothing, jewelry and food.

Stroll down the beautiful brick lined riverwalk or feel free to bring chairs or blankets to sit on to enjoy the park. There are several parking garages in the area with a short walk to the park.

Captain Mike Efford and Cyndi will be hosting with his boat MICYN at the dock. Anyone interested in meeting up on the boats, please bring an appetizer to share and something to drink.
