Captains Sail Credits 2026 (January 01, 2026)

Enter SSSF Captains Sail Credits Monthly

Per SSSF Policies & Procedures: Sail Report must be turned in within one (1) month of the sail.

Crew must vary from sail to sail.
Day sail earns one (1) sail credit when boat & Crew signed up via the Sailing Director.
Non-scheduled sails earn one (1) sail credit if there are at least two (2) Club members aboard.
Weekend or extended sails earn (1) credit per day.

Click Register and provide details of your sail. Each sail must be registered separately.

Friday Night Happy Hour for SSSF will be on April 24 at The Bradley Kitchen + Bar. 6200 N Federal Hwy, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308. 4-7 pm.

Members are free. Guests pay $15.

Appetizers will be provided by the Club to members and paid guests! Discounted cocktails will be available.

There will be a 50/50 raffle and prizes too!

Registration is required and payment for guests is requested beforehand.

Key Largo Adventure Condo Overnight and/or Sail-Boating Overnight (May 01, 2026)

Sailing Singles of SF Key Largo Adventure

Begin the weekend May 1-3, 2026 with friends at Anchorage Resort & Yacht Club (located at 107800 Overseas Hwy, Key Largo, FL 33037) for a wonderful weekend adventure. Two opportunities: Drive to Key Largo-reserve a room which sleeps up to 4 or Captains come by boat with crew assigned and/or crew sleep on boat or reserve a room.

At your earliest convenience, call the Resort at (305) 451-0500 and reserve your room no later than 4/1/2026. A fee of 1 night deposit will be required per room booked. Tell Resort you're with SSSF blocked rooms-use one credit card per room-note: $75 cancellation fee) and also register on our SSSF Website so we can plan events accordingly. Lead person who books the room will need to contact Mona Pincus SSSF Member @ (561) 416-1040 or email mona605@gmail.com to let her know you have booked a room. IMPORTANT: Room availability is not guaranteed so register as soon as possible and no later than 4/1/2026.

Check in time at the Anchorage Resort is after 2PM. Would like our group to meet at the Blackwater Siren, which is next door to the Anchorage Resort at 4:00 PM for Happy Hour. The Blackwater Happy Hour starts at 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM with a 20% discount on drinks, $10% on food. Room key from the Resort must be shown to obtain the discount. Appetizers are available at reasonable prices. Lobby always has free Keurig coffee 9am - 5pm. Lots of activities available to participants throughout Key Largo - sun bathing at a nearby beach at Gilberts, snorkeling, scuba diving, etc.

Anchorage Resort & Yacht Club weekend/overnight stay – participants Members/Boats -estimated Dockage rate $3 per foot per night (max draft 6) and special room rate friends/family-rooms can accommodate up to 4 - (rates subject to discount based on # of rooms guaranteed). Rate discounts subject to change based upon guaranteed registrations...the more registrants will drive discount. For more information about Anchorage Resort & Yacht Club..

Overnight condo reservations up to two nights and accommodate 4 people per room (1 King bed/1 Queen sofa couch), rooms have a full kitchen including a drip coffee maker. One credit card will hold your reservation and there is a $75 cancellation fee. Per room designate one lead person to coordinate those folks sharing a room. Also, Captains who bring their boat as part of this SSSF event are eligible for first night dockage reimbursable by SSSF.

Of course, participants can reserve their stay for a longer period of time.

Lot's of opportunties to go snorkeling, fishing, and boating.

11 am to 2 pm.

It will be a great day on the dock, where we will enjoy fantastic Jazz Music along with other types of music on the three stages. There will be plenty of people and dog watching along with booths from local vendors for clothing, jewelry and food.

Stroll down the beautiful brick lined riverwalk or feel free to bring chairs or blankets to sit on to enjoy the park. There are several parking garages in the area with a short walk to the park.

More information to follow if any our boats will be attending. Therefore, anyone interested in meeting up on the boats, please bring an appetizer to share and something to drink.

Fort Lauderdale Air Show Raft Up

The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds are back

for an unforgettable performance. Catch all the action at the Ft. Lauderdale Air Show on Saturday 5/9.

Join your SSSF friends for a fun day on the water as we watch the show together.

Boat assignments will depend on the number of captains participating—as well as, of course, the weather.

Captains also have the option to arrive at Sunrise Bay the night before and stay overnight to secure the best viewing spot possible. Please note in registration comment section to the Sailing Director if you would like to stay overnight, if available.

Meetings are held on the last Monday of each month.

Members who wish to address the Board must inform the Commodore, in writing, as to the nature of their business by the end of the day Saturday before the scheduled meeting.
